Best Time to Fly to Norwich, England

As it has a temperate maritime climate, Norwich does not experience extremes of weather and so is pleasant to visit at any time of the year. Due to its picturesque appearance, Norwich is perhaps at its most attractive in the months from May to August. May is the time of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival, one of the oldest arts festivals in England, and celebrates classical music, dance, visual arts and children’s events.

The cheapest time to visit the city is during October through to March, when visitor numbers drop and there are excellent bargains to be had by way of accommodation. 

Getting around Norwich, England

Norwich is serviced by a number of bus companies. Additionally Norfolk County Council run six park and ride sites, with nearly 5,000 parking spaces provided. The Hop on hop off bus tours of the city are very informative and highly recommended. The City Boats services are also an excellent way to see the Old Town from a different perspective. The center of the city is small enough to be easily accessed on foot.
